The Druid's Head

Massive pub, both upstairs and downstairs. Shame we went on a day when there was football being played, some kids upstairs got way too excited and started shouting and stamping their feet like they lived in Ethiopia and the UN had just flown over with a food drop.
Toilets were dodgy, unidentified floating objects.

The evening we visited this place it was very busy due to the football being shown on the big screen upstairs and the smaller ones on the downstairs level. Unfortunately this meant that when we did eventually find a table, only 2 chairs were there forcing two of us to stand (we had a guest with us this evening) after a while Ollie and I spied another table with a few chairs round it so relocated there, unfortunately in close proximity to the door meant a regular cold draft every time someone entered or left. Overall experience was not great due to noise form supporters and the draft, but then if you don’t want noise you wont got to a bar showing sports intentionally, just happened to be next on our list. I reckon another night would have been a more positive experience.
